Temple Methodist Church

After over a year of reflection and discussion, the the new structure of church governance - Church Council and the committees - has been produced and approved.
The new structure with a slimmed down Church Council and four teams focusing on Worship & Prayer, Service & Evangelism, Learning & Caring and Resourcing came into being in September 2006

After major work on the hall and other rooms, including the creation of the Pilgrim Place Chapel, it is now time to look at the future of the worship area.
A scheme has been proposed with the following vision:

·	A Sanctuary fit for worship in the twenty first century whilst retaining the heritage that has inspired generations.

·	A space in which concerts and other events can be held.

·	A long-held vision realised.

Welcoming God,
You invite us to your sanctuary
where we join our brothers and sisters in praising your presence.
We celebrate what we have inherited,
and rejoice in all your promises.
Giving thanks for all those who have gone before us
may we recognise our calling so that we enable others to worship you.
As followers of Jesus we pray. Amen.
